Salty Sue`s has obtained their city doggie dining permit, and will be hosting patrons and their pets on their outdoor dining deck. There will also be a fenced dog play area on their back lawn, and a raffle and door prizes. Proceeds to benefit a local dog rescue organization. Entry by donation. Recommended donation: $5. Outdoor seating for owners and their dogs. Full menu service from Salty Sue’s and special Doggie Menu.

Held at local restaurants to raise funds for its scholarship program. Diners are asked to present coupons to their server or cashier at participating restaurants, who will make a one-dollar donation to the Foundation for each coupon collected. Coupons good for breakfast, lunch and dinner, are also available at the Bay District School Board Offices, each public school, Panhandle Educators’ Federal Credit Union, and participating restaurants or by calling.

Come join all the action as the mens and womens divisions compete for the title of the best. Double elimination tournament is sure to provide lots of action for any sports lover! Over 70+ Military teams, Men`s, Women`s & Coed, will be competing for the 2010 USSSA Military World Championship. Teams will compete in Varsity "A", Varsity "B", Intramural divisions in the double-elimination format. Opening Ceremonies start the event on Thursday at 2:30pm with tournament play beginning Friday at 8:00am.

The American Cancer Society`s "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" is a noncompetitive walk that gives hope for a future without breast cancer. This is your opportunity to honor breast cancer survivors, remember those we have lost, and raise funds and awareness to help end this disease
